No phone trees, no runaround, and no pressure. Reach out however you are most comfortable, by phone, by message, or with our free chat assistant, and a real person will help. Before you call
What to have ready when you call
You do not need to have everything organized. But if you can have these three things nearby, the conversation will be more productive and we can give you a clearer picture of where you stand.
Your DD-214 (if you have it)
This is your discharge document. If you cannot find it, we can help you request a copy.
Your most recent VA decision letter
The letter the VA sent after your last claim or rating decision. It tells us what you are currently rated for and what was denied.
A list of conditions you want to discuss
Even a handwritten list is fine. Include anything service-related that is affecting your daily life, whether you have filed for it or not.
If you do not have any of these, call anyway. We will walk you through what you need and how to get it.
